On April Fool's Day 2008, I retired after 32 years of US Government service. I had some great work experiences like getting paid to go on a 2-week long National Outdoor Leadership School kayak trip in Prince William Sound, Alaska and traveling to the Russian Far East 2 summers in a row. Since my philosophy has always been that life is a vacation, I decided to retire to a beach paradise called Playa Barqueta near the town of David, Panama.

Great photos! Too bad you left Panama, but there is certainly nothing wrong with Hawaii! If you ever return and want to go whitewater rafting in Boquete let me know.
